We strongly recommend that you read the safety and operation instructions carefully before operating your product. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND HEED ALL WARNINGS on your oxygen concentrator and in this manual.

II. Safety Information
Dealer: This manual MUST be given to the end user.
User: BEFORE using this product, read this manual and save for future reference.
Read all instructions before operating the oxygen concentrator. Important information is highlighted by these terms:
WARNING: Safety information for hazards that might cause serious injury or death.
CAUTION: Information for preventing damage to the product.
NOTE: Information to which you should pay special attention. Before connecting the AC power cord to the outlet, make sure that the voltage designation corresponds to the local electrical supply. If you are unsure about your power supply, please ask the local power company.
NOTE: In order to prevent oxygen concentrator power lost or broken down suddenly, it is necessary to provide other spare oxygen supply equipment (such as: oxygen bottle, oxygen bag, etc.) for who are urgently needed oxygen.
NOTE: The oxygen concentrator is just for home health care and do not be as an equipment for life support or extension.
NOTE: The product and related accessories are not toy. Keep away from baby or children or other pets to avoid danger of any suffocation or destroy the product.
NOTE: The patient is an intended operator.
CAUTION: No servicing and maintenance while the ME equipment is in use.
WARNING: Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer.
CAUTION: Strangulation due to cables and hoses, particularly due to excessive length;
NOTE: Ensure the time required (30 minutes) for the ME equipment to warm from the minimum storage temperature between uses until the ME equipment is ready for its INTENDED USE when the ambient temperature is 20 °C; and the time required (30 minutes) for the ME equipment to cool from the maximum storage temperature between uses until the ME equipment is ready for its INTENDED USE when the ambient temperature is 20 °C.
CAUTION: Pay attention to warning information of accessories, e.g. do not use a paediatric cannula on an adult patient.

1. Before installation:
A. No lying or place upside down for the oxygen concentrator. Please install the product horizontally, do not tilt or place upside down this product, and do not block the air outlet too.
B. If the power voltage is unstable and exceed your local electrical supply, please add to use voltage stabilizer firstly before using the product.
C. Please use safe and good AC socket or socket-mobile with safety certificate.
D. Please never open the cabinet!

2. Working environment:
A. The product should be placed into ventilated place in room. To prevent overheating, these openings should not be blocked or covered. Never use the unit onto a bed, sofa, rug, or other uneven surfaces. Doing so may block the ventilation openings in the bottom of the unit. If you place the product in a bookcase or some other enclosed place, please make sure to provide adequate space for ventilation to ensure far away over 10cm from wall or other objects
B. Far way areas under direct sun-light; far away fire and higher or lower temperature or with high humidity or high level of dust which may cause damages on the internal parts of the oxygen concentrator.
C. Do not place other clutter and water or oil holder onto the cabinet.
D. Do not place other clutter in bottom or rear cabinet's vents to make sure there is nothing blocking them. Otherwise it will cause working stopped or oxygen concentration dropping because of hot temperature in unit.

3. In working:
A. NO SMOKING and KEEP AWAY OPEN FIRE from oxygen concentrator working area to avoid fire breaking out, because oxygen is a kind of combustion-supporting gas.
B. Do not power on or off the oxygen concentrator frequently in a short time. Usually you could restart unit that is powered off 3~5 minutes later so that its compressor working life could be extended.
C. Do not us any oil or grease substance for any part or component of the oxygen concentration to avoid oxygen polluted and cause fire.
D. Pour out water from humidification bottle during unit's transportation to avoid water backflow.
E. There is some intermittent exhaust voice in working because of operating principle. This is a normal phenomenon.
F. Please use Distilled Water or Cold Boiled Water in humidification bottle. And do not let water amount exceed the water line in bottle. Please use our original or genuine humidification bottle to get best oxygen uptake effect.

4. Electromagnetic environment operation guide:
A. The product is suitable for hospital, at home, and other buildings that connect to civil power low voltage network.
B. The radio frequency's energy of the products is only for machine internal operation, it is very low. The product will not affect the other electrical equipment around.
C. Because the number of radio frequency transmitters and other electrical noise sources are increasing in medical places, the severe disruption of closer distance or the too strong power of emission source may stop the machine working. If that happened, check to find the Interference source, and take the following actions: Power off the equipment around and then restart; Change the location of jamming equipment; Increase the distance between the jamming equipment and our product.

III. Safety Precautions and General Warnings
A. CAUTION: Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
B. WARNING: Oxygen promotes rapid burning. Do not smoke when using this unit or when near a person receiving oxygen therapy. Do not operate the oxygen concentrator within a minimum of five feet (1.6m) from hot, sparking, or burning objects or naked flames. Do not use in rooms heated by paraffin or portable gas heaters.
C. Do not place a humidifier with an oxygen patient unless prescribed by a physician and then only a bubble-type humidifier should be used.
D. Only operate the oxygen concentrator with all filters in place; do not operate if the air filter is wet.
E. WARNING: Electric shock hazard. Do not remove cabinet. The cabinet should only be removed by a qualified homecare provider.
F. WARNING: Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet before attempting repairs on the unit. Extra care should be taken if it is necessary to operate the unit with the cabinet removed.
G. WARNING: Do not use oils, greases, or any petroleum-based solvents/cleaners on or near the unit. Use only materials that are compatible with oxygen.
H. WARNING: Electric Shock Hazard. When replacing the capacitor, do not touch the terminals or allow metal objects to come in contact with the terminals on the capacitor. The capacitor may hold a charge for several days after the unit is turned off.
I. Use only original or genuine concentrator replacement parts and accessories.
J. Do not use regenerated sieve material.
K. WARNING: To ensure receiving the therapeutic amount of oxygen delivery according to your medical condition the Oxygen Concentrator must
- be used only after one or more settings have been individually determined or prescribed for you at your specific activity levels;
- be used with the specific combination of parts and accessories that are in line with the specification of the concentrator manufacturer and that were used while your settings were determined.
L. WARNING: Use only water-based lotions or salves that are oxygen-compatible before and during oxygen therapy. Never use petroleum or oil-based lotions or salves to avoid the risk of fire and burns.
M. WARNING: Do not lubricate fittings, connections, tubing, or other accessories of the oxygen concentrator to avoid the risk of fire and burns.
N. WARNING: Use only spare parts recommended by the manufacturer to ensure proper function and to avoid the risk of fire and burns.
O. WARNING: Use of this device at an altitude above 2286 m or outside a temperature of 40 °C or a relative humidity above 80% is expected to adversely affect the flowrate and the percentage of oxygen and consequently the quality of the therapy.
P. WARNING: Oxygen makes it easier for a fire to start and spread. Do not leave the nasal cannula or mask on bed coverings or chair cushions, if the oxygen concentrator is turned on, but not in use; the oxygen will make the materials flammable. Turn the oxygen concentrator off when not in use to prevent oxygen enrichment.
Q. WARNING: If you feel discomfort or are experiencing a medical emergency while undergoing oxygen therapy, seek medical assistance immediately to avoid harm.
R. WARNING: Smoking during oxygen therapy is dangerous and is likely to result in facial burns or death. Do not allow smoking within the same room where the oxygen concentrator or any oxygen carrying accessories are located.
S. WARNING: Open flames during oxygen therapy are dangerous and is likely to result in fire or death. Do not allow open flames within 2 m of the oxygen concentrator or any oxygen carrying accessories.

IV.  Product Features
1. Summary:
Product introduction:
The Oxygen Concentrator produces concentrated oxygen from room air for delivery to a patient requiring low flow oxygen therapy. The oxygen from the air is concentrated using a molecular sieve and a pressure swing adsorption process. Oxygen Concentrators are used for oxygen provision in healthcare applications, in the hospitals or at home, especially where liquid or pressurized oxygen is too dangerous or inconvenient, such as in homes or in portable clinics.
The basic structure of all models is the same. Each model of the Oxygen Concentrators consists principally of an oxygen concentrator unit, a flow meter, an oxygen purity sensor and optionally a humidification bottle. Figure 1 gives the structure of the device.

Indications:
The Oxygen Concentrator is intended to provide supplemental oxygen to persons requiring oxygen therapy. The device is not intended to be life supporting or life sustaining.
Indications for oxygen therapy: hypoxaemia, increased work of breathing, postoperative oxygenation especially in abdominal and chest surgeries, anaemic hypoxia.
Contraindications: the Oxygen Concentrator is not intended for use when oxygen therapy is contraindicated. No device-specific contraindications are known currently. Contraindications related to the oxygen therapy are to be determined by medical professionals. Contraindications related to the oxygen therapy are as follows:
1. There are no absolute contraindications to oxygen administration.
2. In general, supplemental oxygen should be guided by pulse oximetry (when available) to maintain oxygen saturations >94%.
3. Patients with COPD may develop a hypoxic drive to breath. High concentrations of oxygen may suppress their respiratory drive. Oxygen should still be administered when clinically indicated. Providers should monitor for respiratory depression and assist ventilations when indicated.

User profile: medical staffs, patients or other individual instructed by medical staff.
Patient population: no limits.
Side effects: No device-specific side effects are known currently. Oxygen therapy side effects include nasal dryness or skin irritation - the increased oxygen can dry the nasal passages and the skin; more serious, rare side effects include pneumothorax, oxygen toxicity, and seizure.

Warnings:
A warning represents the possibility of harm to the operator or patient.
  • For proper operation, your concentrator requires unobstructed ventilation. The ventilation ports are located at the rear base of the device and at the side air inlet filter. Keep the device at least 15 to 30 cm away from walls, furniture, and especially curtains that could impede adequate airflow to the device. Do not place the concentrator in a small closed space (such as a closet). The device should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment. For more information, contact your home care provider.
  • Do not remove the covers of this device. Servicing must be referred to an authorized and trained home care provider.
  • In the event of an equipment alarm or if you are experiencing any signs of discomfort consult your home care provider and/or your health care professional immediately.
  • Oxygen generated by this concentrator is supplemental and should not be considered life supporting or life sustaining. In certain circumstances oxygen therapy can be hazardous; any user should seek medical advice prior to using this device.
  • Where the prescribing health care professional has determined that an interruption in the supply of oxygen, for any reason, may have serious consequences to the user, an alternate source of oxygen should be available for immediate use.
  • Oxygen vigorously accelerates combustion and should be kept away from heat or open flame. Not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anesthetic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
  • Do not smoke, allow others to smoke or have open flames near the concentrator when it is in use.
  • Do not use oil or grease on the concentrator or its components as these substances, when combined with oxygen, can greatly increase the potential for a fire hazard and personal injury.
  • Do not use the oxygen concentrator if either the plug or power cord is damaged. Do not use extension cords or electrical adapters.
  • Do not attempt to clean the concentrator while it is plugged into an electrical outlet.
  • Device operation above or outside of the voltage, LPM, temperature, humidity and/or altitude values specified may decrease oxygen concentration levels.
  • Your home care provider is responsible for performing appropriate preventive maintenance at the intervals recommended by the device manufacturer.
  • Application accessories shall include a means to reduce the propagation of fire.
  • The use of accessories, transducers, and cables other than those specified by the manufacturer may result in increased emissions or decreased immunity of the device.
  • Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect Medical Electrical Equipment. See the EMC section of the manual for distances to observe between RF Generators and the device to avoid interference.
  • Medical Electrical Equipment needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC information provided in the manual.
  • The Oxygen Concentrator should be located so as to avoid pollutants or fumes
  • The oxygen delivery setting has to be determined for each patient individually with the configuration of the equipment to be used, including accessories.
  • The proper placement and positioning of the PATIENT interface is critical to the effectiveness of the therapy.

Cautions:
A caution represents the possibility of damage to the equipment.
  • Do not place liquids on or near the device.
  • If liquid is spilled on the device, turn the power off and unplug from electrical outlet before attempting to clean up spill. Call your home care provider if device does not continue to work properly.
  • The time required from switching on the Oxygen Concentrator until it can be relied upon to deliver the set flowrate and concentration of oxygen is until to 30 minutes.
